The band hooked up with the Do Good Bus thanks to an inside connection: Pontius’ sister, Rebecca, is a co-founder.
Fink said the band always had community service in mind in addition to making music.
“Doing things with charity was something we talked about very early on,” he said, adding that the band’s name implies helping others.
